Question of the Week:

What is something old or familiar that still brings you joy consistently?

One great answer is the beach. The beach has made its way into this newsletter a few times before, and for good reason. This past Sunday, I was at the beach for nearly 4 hours with my family.

We were one of the first boats to coast into a shallow sandbar, set our anchor, and explore the quiet shoreline. Even several hundred feet from shore, the water was only 5 feet deep. We had to drive in slowly, and we took it all in.

Rain clouds came and went, a few raindrops didn’t ruin the day. We ate some lunch and walked as far as we could.

Every beach is different but the experience is often similar. I can’t wait to go back again soon.
