Little Red Duck Flies Upside-Down

Little Red Duck Flies Upside-Down

Wings went woosh!

Head upside down.

The funniest way to fly around town.

Early in the morning,

Red was always seen

flying upside down

on his morning routine.

Red flapped to the diner,

breakfast a piece of pie,

then fluttered to the playground,

feet pointed to the sky.

Other ducks were playing,

gliding down the slide.

Red always watched,

but today decided to try.

Wings went woosh!

Down the slide so fast.

Joining the other ducks,

Red had a blast.

After a crazy ride

down the town’s biggest slide,

Red glided to the race track

to see the racers inside.

Flying around the corners,

here the racers came.

Practicing their turns and speed

through obstacles with aim.

Red watched in awe,

racing his biggest dream.

Flying with the racers,

a dream to join the team.

After every practice,

Red flew through the course,

zooming, twisting upside down

flapping with all his force.

“Too slow!” quacked the coach.

“Wrong way!” the racers said.

“Why upside down?” they asked,

“Try right side up instead!”

Off the track Red went,

all the racers staring.

“Out of our way Red,

we need to start preparing!”

Tomorrow in the town,

the biggest race of the year.

All the ducks ready,

to watch the race and cheer.

The next day at noon,

Red back at the track,

all the ducks watched,

the racing track packed.

“No! No! No!” coach angrily yelled.

“This is all wrong,

Your lap stunk, it smelled!”

This year’s race had a new feature

unknown to racers,

a loop de loop creature!

All the best had

tried and failed

Some tried twice,

others bailed.

Tempers flared,

Notes teared,

Racers sat exhausted, and glared.

The race now over,

No duck made it through,

loop de loop won,

No duck knew what to do.

While everyone left,

Red stayed late

to fly through the course,

just fine, just great!

Wings went woosh!

Zooming, twisting upside down,

flying the track ‘round and ‘round.

Red sailed through the loop de loop,

the only one of the group!

Coach watched in awe,

winning his biggest dream,

coaching all the racers,

a winning team a dream.

“Hey!” coach quacked,

from the back of the track.

Come be a coach,

teach us to do that!

From that day on,

Red was always seen

flying upside down

on his morning routine.

Red flapped to get breakfast,

fluttered to the slide,

taught all the racers

the upside-down glide.

Flying around the corners,

here the racers came.

Red watched in awe,

A dream to coach the game.

  5. A large percentage of of what you assert is supprisingly legitimate and that makes me ponder why I hadn’t looked at this in this light before. This piece truly did switch the light on for me as far as this specific subject goes. But at this time there is actually one factor I am not really too cozy with so while I attempt to reconcile that with the core theme of the position, let me see just what all the rest of the readers have to point out.Nicely done.

  9. Today, while I was at work, my cousin stole my iPad and tested to see if it can survive a 40 foot drop, just so she can be a youtube sensation. My apple ipad is now broken and she has 83 views. I know this is entirely off topic but I had to share it with someone!
