If You Give a Mom a Break
When a Mom is done her week at work she should get a break.
If you give a Mom a break, a break she will never take.
If you give a Mom a break she will do the chores.
she will throw the laundry in and mop the entire floor.
If you give a Mom a break and everything is clean,
she will find more to fit into her routine.
If you give a Mom a break and all her chores are done,
she will start on the chores not done by her son.
If you give a Mom a break she will clean his room,
she will grab his pants and socks, dirty she will presume.
If you give a Mom a break and the family’s chores are done,
she might finally go outside to walk, or jog, or run.
If you give a Mom a break and she gets a workout done,
she might take a shower quick, two minutes, maybe one.
If you give a Mom and break and she takes a quick shower,
she might sit down on the couch, if the day allows her.
If you give a Mom a break and she sits on the couch,
she will soon get up again for feeling like a slouch.
If you give a Mom a break and everything is done,
she will find something new to do for you and everyone.
If you give a Mom a break and she finds something new,
she might make a recipe with several good reviews.
If you give a Mom a break she might be alone.
It might feel unusual so she might call your phone.
If you give a Mom a break and she calls you on your phone,
she might ask you when you plan on being back at home.
If you give a Mom a break each and every day,
she will find love to show you each and every way.
If you give a Mom a break and she runs and cooks and mops,
she will find another gear and never, ever stop.
Even if you never cook, clean, or do your chores,
your Mom will always find a way to love you even more.
