About

I founded Practice Optimism (Practice Optimism Consulting, LLC) in 2022 as a place to share experiences and to guide others toward a positive approach to their careers and lives. Optimism is a concept and an acquired doctrine. It requires discipline and repetition. There is no perfecting it and it comes and goes. Practice Optimism strives to explain the most effective ways of making the most out of any situation, especially while pursuing your goals. It is a place to share personal stories, teach positive perspectives, and to prepare you for what is next. This site offers articles, tips and insights, and stories for kids to help people of all ages explore their paths with a positive, enthusiastic attitude. Learn more about Practice Optimism’s founder below. Welcome and enjoy!

Meet Will

I am a father and husband, a higher education professional, and former college baseball player. My experiences have tested my mindset and approach in many ways, so I started Practice Optimism to learn from and guide others.

My Writing and Services Focus On:

  • Developing a positive mindset
  • Developing positive relationships
  • Stories for Kids
  • Career, family, and personal exploration
  • Parenting

I do not try to predict the future, but I reflect on failure and success to create positive momentum moving forward.

Effective actions require the right mindset. These are influenced by the ideas and actions that we witness around us. There is no magic formula and your personal process is unique. Our shared thoughts will build a solid foundation of exploration and I am excited to learn with you.
