The Weekly Optimist Newsletter: Stick With It
Quotes from Me:
“The need to be right comes at way too high a cost.”
“Give everything you have.”
“There is too much waiting around for life to happen.”
Quotes from Others:
“What I learned on my own, I still remember.” – Nassim Taleb
“Practice even what seems impossible.” – Marcus Aurelius
“A person who never made a mi stake, never tried anything new.” – Albert Einstein
Quick Optimism:
You owe it to yourself to create wealth. That’s health, love, and freedom.
Question:
Do you stick with it?
The true test of our day to day is not how much we enjoy the highs, it’s how well we support ourselves and our loved ones during the lowest lows. Good days can be easier. Showing up on hard days not so much.
Make sure you are able to rely on yourself on both types of days.
The same goes for perspective. On hard days, you may feel disappointed that things could be better, but gratitude stems from realizing things could be much worse.
Where and how you focus will shape how your days actually are, and how they feel.
So stick with it.
